As a result of these contacts, the Italian Aviazione Legionaria (AL) and the German Legion Condor (LC) were sent to fight in Franco&#8217;s service. Together with the Northern Air Force (FAN), both air units carried out more than 1000 bombing operations on Basque soil between 22 July 1936 and 18 August 1937.<br \/>The seminar analyses some of the
