caused.<\/p>\n<p>All of this brings us closer than ever to situations like those in Ukraine and other war-torn countries.<\/p>\n<p>26 April 1937, Monday, market day. This is the beginning of almost all the accounts of the tragic bombing that destroyed the city and its people.<\/p>\n<p>It was a very important episode in the history of the Spanish Civil War as well as the precursor of the bombing of open cities and against the civilian population.<\/p>\n<p>That is why the Gernika Peace Museum presents this online material aimed at secondary and high school
