The play entitled Un ciel rempli d\u2019oiseaux, written by Antoine Choplin in 2021, pays tribute to the Romani artist Ceija Stojka, deceased in 2013.<\/p>\n

Born in Austria in 1933, Ceija was deported at the age of 10 in Auschwitz, then Ravensbr\u00fcck and Bergen-Belsen. Illiterate then self-taught woman, she learnt how to read and write in her forties in order to begin a memory work, with the writing of poems and prose. Then, around twenty years later, she began to paint more than a thousand works, inks, gouaches and acrylics on canvas or paper. Her works represent an exceptional testimony of her concentration-camp experience, against oblivion and denial, and participate in a fight against anti-Romani racism all over Europe.<\/p>\n

This show, created from a book, lies at the crossroads between poetry, art books, novels and theatre and constitute an incarnation of Ceija Stojka\u2019s art, through Antoine Choplin\u2019s words, Dominique Lurcel\u2019s directing and Juliette Savoz\u2019s performance.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
