To date \u201cOn jouait, on s\u2019amusait, on chantait\u201d<\/em>, Paroles et images des enfants d\u2019Izieu \u2013 1943-1944<\/em> is the reference book about the Children\u2019s Home.<\/p>\n

Thanks to archival documents (photos, letters, drawings\u2026) and numerous accounts, this book tells the refugee children\u2019s history and daily life at the Maison d\u2019Izieu until the dramatic roundup of April 6 1944. A few weeks later, Sabine Zlatin, the Home\u2019s director, came back to Izieu to collect the marks left by the children and her husband, Miron. In 1993, she chose to give them to the French national Library.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
