Meeting with Jordan Mechner

After a guided tour of the house which deeply moved him, the designer of the famous video game Prince of Persia, Jordan Mechner, presented his comic book, Replay, mémoires d’une famille. The public was made of secondary school pupils and visitors especially came for the occasion.
During this lecture, he told the audience about the different steps (research about his family’s history, writing of the characters, the colours’ use) which led him to create his book. The latter is made of three biographical stories : his own, from the creation of his first video games to his arrival at Montpellier (France), and the story of his father and grand-father who fled from Austria to escape nazi persecutions.
