80 years’ commemoration of the roundup of Izieu

2024 is a most special year. Indeed, the Maison d’Izieu is about to commemorate the 80 years of the roundup on April 6 and the 30 years of the memorial on April 24.

For this double event, the memorial entrusts creators, musicians, writers, artists and film directors the mission to highlight what it is, meaning a place of remembrance, education and living.

So, a temporary exhibition entitled “They were children!” will be revealed, new books and a comic book will be published and shows and plays will be performed in order to commemorate these two significant moments.
