Frida and the others: Stories of Women, War History - Fossoli 1944

The exhibition highlights faces and stories that passed through the Fossoli Camp: the faces of women who lived through World War II. Through their stories, they recount the ways in which they faced the brutality of the conflict and implemented forms of resistance for themselves, their loved ones, and a just cause. The female perspective reconstructs history as a fabric of human events and places at the center the question of how to shape the narrative that preserves the past we want to care for.
