This seminar was part of the exhibition Historical Memory, graphic reportage of the bitter aftermath of Franco’s regime, on display at the Gernika Peace Museum (April-September 2016).
In it, different specialists addressed several important related issues, such as the languages of public art and the strategies of memory, the bonds of forgetfulness, the presence of victims in documentary film, exhumations and archival work.
In a second moment, it focused on Art for memory.
